Lake Whitney  16 March 2025

Lake Whitney was the site of our 4th Qualifying Event of the 2024-2025 season. 58 teams hit the water looking for 5 of the right bites. The lake was 0.05 feet high with a water temperature of 58 degrees. A cool morning and light breeze at lunch, switching to clear skies and warmer weather by late morning provided a new challenge for these young anglers.

1st Place.
Fisher Tindell and Brant MacIlhaney of the Crawford High School Fishing Team, with a total weight of 20.18 lbs. The anglers were awarded 1st Place Trophies, a share of $500.00 in Scholarship Money and Abu Garcia Max X Reels.

 
2nd Place.
Arie Henry and Bradyn Teat of the China Springs Bass Club, with a total weight of 13.81 lbs. The anglers were awarded 2nd Place Trophies, a share of $400.00 in Scholarship Money, and Abu Garcia Max X Reels.

 
3rd Place.
Christopher Ehlers and Bruce Ehlers of the Riesel Indians Fishing Team, with a total weight of 12.70 lbs. The anglers were awarded 3rd Place Trophies, a share of $300.00 in Scholarship Money, and Abu Garcia Max X Reels.

 
4th Place.
Kasey Boatright and Gage Salinas of the Liberty Hill Fishing Team, with a total weight of 12.57 lbs. The anglers were awarded 4th Place Trophies, a share of $200.00 in Scholarship Money and Berkley Lighting Rods.

 
5th Place.
Eric Walker and Barrett Gray of the Liberty Hill Fishing Team, with a total weight of 12.14 lbs. The anglers were awarded Abu Garcia Jorden Lee Rod and Reel Combos.

 
6th Place.
Thomas Dvorak and Martin Gonzalez-Diaz of the West High School Bass Club, with a total weight of 11.65 lbs. The anglers were awarded Abu Garcia Max X Reels.

Big Bass Award.
Fisher Tindell of the Crawford High School Fishing Team with a nice 8.27 lbs. Largemouth.
He was awarded an Abu Garcia Vengeance Rod.


The Top Junior Team Award.
Thomas Dvorak and Martin Gonzalez-Diaz of the West High School Bass Club with a total weight of 11.65 lbs. The anglers were awarded a share of $200.00 in Scholarship Money and Berkley Lighting Rods.
