Stillhouse Hollow Reservoir was the site of our 2025 Winter Classic. 15 teams that qualified for the Winter Classic hit the water looking for 5 keeper bites. It was a chilly, wet day with the lake at 2.72 feet low and a water temperature of 45 degrees. The cooler weather, overcast skies and cooler water temperatures provided a new challenge for these young anglers. Here are the 2025 Winter Classic winners.
1st Place.
Fisher Tindell and Brant McIlhaney of the Crawford High School Fishing Team with a total weight of 18.42lbs. The anglers were awarded 1st Place Medallions, a share of $1200.00 in Scholarship Money, Abu Garcia Max Z Reels and the coveted CTHSTT Winter Classic Traveling Trophy. Their Boat Captain also received a 1st Place Medallion.
2nd Place.
Kenji Urade and Drew Hedges of the Bosqueville HS Fishing Team with a total weight of 18.11lbs. The anglers were awarded 2nd Place Medallions, a share of $800.00 in Scholarship Money, and Abu Garcia Max Z Reels. Their Boat Captain also received a 2nd Place Medallion.
3rd Place.
Arie Henry and Bradyn Teat of the China Springs Bass Club with a total weight of 14.03lbs. The anglers were awarded 3rd Place Medallions, a share of $600.00 in Scholarship Money, and Abu Garcia Max Z Reels. Their Boat Captain also received a 3rd Place Medallion.
4th Place.
Ryder Bice and Caleb Tucker of the Granger Lion Fishing, with a total weight of 11.82lbs. The anglers were awarded 4th Place Medallions, a share of $400.00 in Scholarship Money and Berkley Lighting Rods. Their Boat Captain also received a 3rd Place
Big Bass Award.
Kenji Urade of the Bosqueville HS Fishing Team with a nice 6.24lbs Largemouth.
He was awarded an Abu Garcia Vengeance Rod.
Gift Cards were awarded to 2 randomly selected Boat Captains.
